Pirates' Duffy Disagrees With Schilling's Contention Pirates center fielder Chris Duffy, who was beaned by Curt Schilling on Saturday, said he believes the Red Sox ace wasn't trying to hit him. What Duffy found unbelievable is that Schilling later said Duffy should have been able get out of the way of a fastball that struck him flush in the helmet and sent him to the hospital.
