Sad news from the Associated Press today: Beatles guitarist George Harrison died yesterday afternoon at the age of 58. Harrison was staying at the home of his longtime friend Gavin De Becker in Los Angeles, and passed away of throat cancer at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. His wife, Olivia Harrison, and his 24 year-old son Dhani were with him when he died.
