TG4 music show shot in Mayo village (Western People)

A PRODUCTION company filming a TG4 show was in Aghamore more than a week ago. Rogers’ Pub in the East Mayo village, which remains the same as it did when it was closed in the 1950’s, is just one of many locations across the county which is to feature in the 25 minutes documentary on musical accents.

The Irish language television station TG4 is to become independent. It currently operates under the umbrella of the Irish state broadcaster, RTE. Communications Minister Noel Dempsey said TG4 will become a separate entity at the beginning of April next year.
