signed with his father's label, Columbia Records, after his
band ended its tenure at Interscope Records last year.

He's a Grammy-winning producer whose clients have included Elvis Costello, Jerry Lee Lewis, Natalie Merchant, Roy Orbison, Counting Crows, and the Wallflowers. He co-wrote a song that was nominated for an Oscar. He's played guitar behind Bob Dylan.
