*Master P is being ordered to stand trial for gun felony possession. The rapper, a recent contestant on "Dancing with the Stars," whose real name is Percy Miller, and his brother, Vyshonn "Silkk The Shocker" Miller, will be arraigned March 13 in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to website TMZ.com. Last year, UCLA campus police stopped the brothers' vehicle because it did not have license plates. Upon inspection, two weapons were spotted under the seat of the car.

*A witness who visited the House of Dereon booth at the Magic fashion trade show in Las Vegas took one look at the decorations and dialed the New York Post’s Page Six. The booth, featuring the fashion line created by Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles, was built to resemble a villa, but the workmanship was not up to par, according to the witness. “It was so cheaply done, the vines were visibly Scotch-taped to the villa," the spy tattled. "It was very un-Beyoncé.” Meanwhile, a rep for House of Dereon said the booth was professionally constructed, adding, "It won the contest for the best booth in the contemporary area."

*R&B singer Sammie, who first burst on the scene in 2000 as a pre-teen, is now 17 and ready to resurface on producer Dallas Austin's Rowdy Records with a new self-titled album due in June. In addition to Austin, Sammie’s LP features production by Bryan Michael Cox, Jazze Pha, 112's Daron Jones, Adonis Shopshire and Novel. Sammie describes the new joint as "soulful" and "passionate." When asked about going up against such new teen idols as Chris Brown, Sammie says he’s ready for some "friendly competition. It's all good. No problem."

*Bad Boy Records' "The Notorious B.I.G. Duets: The Final Chapter” has been certified platinum by the RIAA for U.S. sales of more than one million units. The set was released on Dec 20 and stayed at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart for seven consecutive weeks. The album includes the radio/video hits "Nasty Girl," featuring Diddy, Nelly, and Jagged Edge, and "Spit Your Game," produced by Swizz Beatz and featuring Twista and Bone Thugs N Harmony.
