SoBe heats up as Spring Break nears

Surreal Life star Caprice hosted the launch of her lingerie line, By Caprice, Saturday night at Mansion. Dancers were decked out in the uber-revealing lingerie line to the delight of many a hot-blooded spring breaker. Caprice was joined by fellow SL alum Pepa of Salt-n-Pepa fame. According to insiders, the unlikely duo have become fast friends and Pepa jetted to Miami just to support Caprice in the launch of her unmentionables.
Indy race car driver Danica Patrick was at o-R-o on Monday afternoon doing a press luncheon for more than 100 guests. ''Every media outlet was there for this 90-pound girl who is so cute,'' says a spy.
Miami socialite Katrina Peebles, wife of developer Don, chartered a 130-foot yacht and took the whole family, including kids R. Donahue II and Chloe Alexandra, to celebrate Don's 46th birthday over the weekend. The family started at Ocean Reef and sailed to private beaches.
Actor Andy Garcia attended Sunday's Miami International Film Festival screening of The Lost City, the film he acted in and directed, at the Gusman Theater. After the screening, Garcia and his family celebrated at Gloria Estefan's new restaurant, Oriente, at the Cardozo Hotel. Tonight, actress Rosie Perez is set to appear at the Hotel Astor to celebrate the world premiere of her directorial debut, Yo soy boricua, pa' que tu lo sepas (I'm Boricua, Just so You Know), at the festival.
Star Jones Reynolds hit the town after promoting her book Saturday night, taking in the Miami Heat game and then stopping by Skybar. According to spies, ``She wasn't with her hubby, Al, but she was sporting very big diamonds and a hot security guard.''
