Lily Allen and Lady Sovereign in feud

Lily Allen has offered to adopt Lady Sovereign, after the rapper claimed Lily was only famous because of her father.

The U.K. pop starlets have been involved in a series of public insults following last week's Brit Awards, which saw Lily leave empty-handed.

Sovereign recently claimed her pop rival's career had been propelled by the success of Lily's dad, British comedian Keith Allen.

She said: "I'm not hating on her but someone like Lily Allen, just 'cause her dad's famous, doesn't have to work as hard as someone like me."

Lily has now replied, as follows: "In response to Miss Sovereign's comments, I've spoken to my dad and he says he'd be happy to adopt you if you think it will give you a leg up."
