	featured news Elijah Wood Cast as Iggy Pop Wed, 16 May 2007 14:38:41 A Hobbit becomes a Stooge In one of the oddest casting choices we've seen in a while, Variety reports that Elijah Wood will play Iggy Pop in a biopic of the punk icon. The movie, titled The Passenger, will focus primarily on Pop's earlier years as the front man of the Stooges and will be directed by Nick Gomez.
