As the release of their fourth studio album, the self-titled Liars, nears its release date, Liars have announced a nationwide tour with fellow NYCers Interpol. Frontman Angus Andrew gushed about their opening slot: "We can't wait to tour with Interpol. They're all really nice guys we share a lot in common with... We're super excited to play with them in venues like Madison Square Garden and The Forum in Los Angeles, as well as some states we've never been to like Florida and Idaho. Most of all, we hope it'll be a really great night out for fans of both bands."
Preceding the album's release will be the single "Plaster Casts of Everything," that will be available as a digital download and 7" vinyl on August 14. The single will feature b-sides "Volcano Police" and "Mimic the Hurricano." You can check out the video for "Plaster Casts of Everything," which features a cameo by Angus' former flame Karen O, here. The full album will be available August 28 on Mute.
