Soul singer Leela James has released a digital EP of a live performance she gave in New Orleans, Louisiana in November 2004. The EP, Live in New Orleans, which was recorded at the House of Blues, is available exclusively on iTunes starting Tuesday (March 14), and will be made available for download through other retailers two weeks later.
The release comes one day after James appeared with Marc Broussard and Solomon Burke at the 2006 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction where the three performed a tribute to the late Wilson Pickett.
In addition, Warner Bros. is readying the release of “Good Time,” the second single from A Change Is Gonna Come. A video for the track will begin shooting in Los Angeles, California, Wednesday (March 15).
