Way to spill the beans, Ian

Led Zeppelin's one-off reunion may not be a one-off after all. At least that's the word from an MTV.com report claiming that Cult frontman Ian Astbury revealed some scintillating news at a Cincinnati show on Saturday.

"We'll be back next year because we're opening for a band you may have heard of," Astbury told the crowd. "The name starts with an 'L' and has a 'Z' in it." When a fan shouted "Led Zeppelin!" Astbury responded with a nod.

Spokesmen from the Cult and Led Zeppelin have not commented on Astbury's blabbermouth just yet, but it's widely known that the band's three surviving members (vocalist Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, and bassist/keyboardist John Paul Jones) have been weighing their options for a possible tour beyond their London show on December 10.

Hell, Page was talking about touring as early as 2003, saying in Billboard, "I think really we'd need to see how we got on in every respect. I mean, it's all very well. I know everyone would love to see us play together, but the reality of it is, if you start doing that, you commit to a period of time. And you've got to make sure that the music is jelling, and the personalities are jelling. But you know, who knows? Everything is possible!"
