Barack Obama Nabs Jeff Tweedy For Hometown Fundraiser

    Wed, 05 Dec 2007 14:02:00

    The Wilco frontman will headline

A completely random bill of underground rap (The Cool Kids), mainstream rock (Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, Jill Sobule of the hit '90s single "I Kissed a Girl"), and alt-country (Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy) will help celebrate the hometown fundraiser of Barack Obama this Friday.

"Change Rocks" will take place at Chicago's Riviera Theatre, in hopes of giving the potential Democratic presidential candidate a push before caucuses start in Iowa on January 3, 2008.
