A third act to be determined will open the Double Trouble trek. Skynyrd will close every night, but 3 Doors Down agent Ken Fermaglich told Billboard the tour is a true co-headlining effort, with equal set lengths and production values.
"Skynyrd has to close because they're in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and we're not," Fermaglich said. "But it's 100% a co-headline tour. Every night at the end of the night the two bands will join up for an all-star jam."
The last show of the tour will be in Biloxi, Miss., on July 22 at the re-opening of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, which was damaged by Hurricane Katrina. 3DD's members hail from the Biloxi area.
