    Marilyn Manson, Twiggy Ramirez Reunite

    Thu, 10 Jan 2008 23:12:54

    Mothers, hide your children

The unthinkable has happened: former Nine Inch Nails/A Perfect Circle bassist Twiggy Ramirez has finally returned to the fold of Marilyn Manson. A co-writer on such key albums as Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death), Ramirez left the band in 2002. His reason according to a Revolver interview, conducted right around the time Ramirez joined APC: "I loved my band, but a lot of time music took a backseat to the image, attitude and showmanship. I changed my name and played a character for 10 years. So now it's refreshing to concentrate on playing the music. I've already become a better player, and it's definitely a lot more stable and healthy of a lifestyle."

Now that his health isn't an issue, Ramirez has decided to join Manson and the rest of his backing band on the Rape of the World Tour. The U.S. leg starts on January 19 in Orlando and runs through March 2 in Houston.
