As you know, we've been keeping a close eye on Janet. The Jackson that counts 'pretty' as a talent is moving full steam ahead with the release of two new singles to radio, "Rock With U" and "Luv," just prior to the release of her 10th studio album, Discipline on February 26th. There has even been a renewed interest in her first single, "Feedback" due to a remix featuring Janet's generational, musical replacement, Ciara. [ Listen to audio here]

And speaking of Jacksons, it turns out that Michael Jackson will make an appearance at this year's Grammy ceremony, however he won't perform as many had hoped.

A medley of his hits are planned including Will.i.am (on "The Girl Is Mine"), Fergie (on "Beat It"), and possibly Kanye West (on "Billie Jean") and Akon (on "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'").

NY's Daily News originally reported that Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich said he'd only do the tribute if Jackson agreed to actually perform.

Later the paper's Rush & Malloy column concluded, "Now, we hear, Ehrlich has agreed to having Jackson just appear onstage - apparently believing viewers will tune in just to see what Jacko looks like now. Grammy reps and Jackson spokeswoman Lois Najarian didn't get back to us. But word is Jackson is saving his moves for a show where he'll make some money - a 'Thriller' TV special and a series of concerts."

Socialite turned porn star turned reality TV star Kim Kardashian is in the news again. This time for credit card fraud.

TMZ is reporting that the one time stylist to R&B singer Brandy, has been named in a lawsuit filed by Sonja Norwood-- Brandy's mother and manager-- alleging that Kardashian as well as her siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Robert, Jr. charged over $120,000 on Brandy's Amex without permission.

Soulman says... File this one under "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

TIME WILL TELL!

Amy Winehouse is allegedly making a concerted effort to attend this year's Grammy ceremony, despite currently being in rehab for her rampant drug use.

As previously reported by SOHH, the Back to Black singer is up for six awards at the 50th annual award ceremony including Album of the Year.

The troubled star was recently released from rehab temporarily to be treated for dehydration and it is rumored that while out she tried to apply for a visa.

"The appointment at the U.S. Embassy was made some time ago and was part of process for obtaining a visa," said a spokesperson via a statement. "No decision has been made about the Grammys. Amy was accompanied by a nurse as the appointment was under supervision. She has not left rehab and remains under the care of the clinic."
