Hard-Fi confirmed for T In The Park

Along with a certain Scottish duo

Hard-Fi are the latest act to be confirmed for this year's T In The Park festival.

The band join the Sunday Main Stage line-up for the event which is set to take place at Balado, near Kinross between July 8-9.

Speaking about the group's debut appearance at the Scottish festival, singer Richard Archer said: "Some of the best gigs we've ever played have been in Scotland. We've got some great memories from our first ever gig at King Tut's, December's sold out Barrowlands show and of course our Hogmanay show in Edinburgh."

"So we're really looking forward to playing up there at T in the Park for the first time. The line up for the weekend looks great!"

Also announced as an addition to the line-up are The Proclaimers, who will return to the event for the third time.

Currently in the studio working on new material, twins Craig and Charlie Reid said: "We are delighted to be playing T in the Park for the third time and we are sure the crowd will be exceptional, as it always is."

Hard-Fi and The Proclaimers join the likes of The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primal Scream, The Ordinary Boys, Kaiser Chiefs and Paul Weller on the bill for the two-day festival.
