50 Cent, News Corp. Rumors Declared Untrue

    Tue, 20 May 2008 09:17:21

    By an anonymous source

A G-Unit rep has denied rumors of a looming $300 million deal between 50 Cent and Rupert Murdoch's massive News Corporation company.

"If this was true, we'd know first," the source told Vibe.com.

If it does turn out to be true, the deal would split all those millions over 10 years, as Fiddy gained private studio and stock options in exchange for releasing his albums under a MySpace Records imprint. News Corp. would handle all of the rapper's touring as well.

Whatever 50 Cent decides to do, he's said that Before I Self Destruct will be his last disc under the Aftermath/Shady/Interscope family of labels.
