NEW YORK (Billboard) - Canadian singer/songwriter Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" notched a third week atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart Thursday, while reggae star Sean Paul's "Temperature" held at No. 2.

Rapper T.I.'s "What You Know" rose one place to No. 3, swapping positions with English balladeer James Blunt's "You're Beautiful."

Powter also led the Hot Digital Songs chart for a third week, while T.I. seized the top spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, ending the 15-week run of

Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You." Blunt also led the Adult Contemporary chart.

Blige's "Be Without You" stayed put at No. 5 on the Hot 100, and

Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" was also steady at No. 6.

Dem Franchize Boyz' "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" featuring Lil Peanut & Charlay rose one to No. 7, and country trio Rascal Flatts' "What Hurts The Most" rocketed 44 places to No. 8, a day after its parent album "Me And My Gang" bowed atop The Billboard 200 with the best sales week of 2006.

Bubba Sparxxx' "Ms. New Booty" featuring Ying Yang Twins and Mr. ColliPark held at No. 9 on the Hot 100, while Ne-Yo's "So Sick" slid three to No. 10. "Ms. New Booty" also maintained the top spot on the Hot Ringtones chart for a second week.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Dani California" was the top debut at No. 24 and also bowed at No. 1 on the airplay-based Modern Rock chart, knocking Pearl Jam's "Worldwide Suicide" to No. 2 after three weeks at the top.

The Chili Peppers' No. 1 Modern Rock debut is only the second in the chart's history, following R.E.M.'s "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?" in September 1994. It's also the Chili Peppers' ninth No. 1, a new record for the format. The quartet had previously been tied with Green Day and U2 for all-time Modern Rock chart toppers.

Also new to the Hot 100 were Nine Inch Nails' "Every Day Is Exactly The Same" (No. 56), Chris Brown's "Gimme That" featuring Lil' Wayne (No. 80), Fort Minor's "Where'd You Go" featuring Holly Brook & Jonah Matranga (No. 86), Field Mob "So What" featuring Ciara's (No. 88), Goo Goo Dolls' "Stay With You" (No. 89), Mary J. Blige's "Enough Cryin" featuring Brook-lyn (No. 90), Keith Anderson's "Every Time I Hear Your Name" (No. 99) and Jagged Edge's "Good Luck Charm" (No. 100).

Anais' "Lo Que Son Las Cosas" held at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart for a second week and Godsmack's "Speak" led the Mainstream Rock tally for a fourth.
