New York City Band Hits the Road in Support of New CD "Ten Silver Drops"

Band to Appear on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" on April 25 and "The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" on May 3

BURBANK, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 19, 2006 -- Propulsive rock trio Secret Machines will set out on a spring tour in support of its self-produced second album "Ten Silver Drops," which will be released on April 25th.

The tour begins with a students-only show on April 21st at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and continues through May in the U.S. In June, the band heads off to Europe for five dates in Germany, as well to appear at the Music in My Head Festival in Holland and the Download Festival in Donnington, England. They will return to the States to perform on August 4th at the legendary Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago, alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, and Queens of the Stone Age. Secret Machines will finish up the tour in Japan with two dates at the Summer Sonic Festival.

Secret Machines -- brothers Brandon and Ben Curtis and Josh Garza -- will make several other promotional appearances in the coming weeks, including performing at two CD-release parties for "Ten Silver Drops" -- one already sold-out show in New York on April 26 and the other in Los Angeles on May 4. Both shows will feature unique theater-in-the-round staging. The band will also make special acoustic in-store appearances at the Virgin Megastore in New York City's Union Square on April 27th and at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles on May 2nd.

The band will perform their new single "Lightning Blue Eyes" on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" on April 25th, and on CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic" with Nic Harcourt on May 3rd.
