Endometriosis
This clinical trial will evaluate two strengths of an investigational oral pill, compared to non-medicinal placebo, for the treatment of endometriosis. Volunteers 18 to 49 years of age who have been surgically diagnosed with endometriosis within the past five years, and are currently experiencing pelvic pain and/or menstrual pain, may qualify to participate. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
This study will evaluate an oral drug designed to interfere with tumor blood vessel formation (BIBF 1120), given with paclitaxel and carboplatin, in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who have not received prior treatment. Volunteers who have advanced non-small cell lung cancer, have measurable disease by CT, MRI, or X-ray, have not received prior treatment for non-small cell lung cancer, and do not have active brain metastases may be eligible. Research site located in Ridgefield, Conn.

Breast Cancer
This clinical study will evaluate an experimental drug in combination with chemotherapy in people with previously untreated metastatic breast cancer. Women who have locally recurrent or metastatic breast cancer, are at least 18 years of age, have not had prior chemotherapy for locally recurrent or metastatic disease, are not pregnant or nursing, and who do not have a history of a problematic heart or cardiovascular condition, may qualify. Research site located in Vincennes, Ind.
