"Bad Day" also logged a third week atop the Hot Digital Songs charts, while "What You Know" led the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for a second week.
Hip-hop veteran LL Cool J's "Control Myself" featuring Jennifer Lopez reentered the Hot 100 at No. 4 in its fourth week on the chart. The track's resurgence comes thanks to its release as a digital download. Of late, LL Cool J's Def Jam label has withheld hit singles from digital services until the physical release of their accompanying albums.
Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" rose one to No. 5, while albums chart-topper Rascal Flatts' "What Hurts the Most" jumped two to No. 6. James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" (No. 7) and Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You" (No. 8) each fell three places.
"What Hurts the Most" remained No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart for a fifth week, and "You're Beautiful" held at No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart for a second week.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Dani California" climbed 15 places to No. 9. Dem Franchize Boyz' "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" featuring Lil Peanut & Charlay fell three to No. 10.
The top debut belonged to Ashley Parker Angel's "Let U Go" at No. 17. Also new were T.I.'s "Why You Wanna" (No. 79), George Strait's "The Seashores of Old Mexico" (No. 86), Blue October's "Hate Me" (No. 88), Angels and Airwaves' "The Adventure" (No. 92), Mariah Carey's "Say Somethin"' featuring Snoop Dogg (No. 93), Cassie's "Me & U" (No. 94), Lil Wayne's "Hustler Musik" (No. 96), Kenny Chesney's "Summertime" (No. 98) and Michael Buble's "Save the Last Dance for Me" (No. 99).
Bubba Sparxxx' "Ms. New Booty" featuring Ying Yang Twins and Mr. ColliPark notched a third week atop the Hot Ringtones chart, while Anais' "Lo Que Son Las Cosas" held at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart for a third frame. Godsmack's "Speak" led the airplay-based Mainstream Rock tally for a fifth week, and the Chili Peppers' "Dani California" topped the Modern Rock chart for a second week.
