The Charlatans UK (whatever happened to Charlatans US anyway?) will cross the pond for an American tour in support of their ninth studio album. The tour kicks off in New York City at Webster Hall May 16 and winds up across the country at San Diego's House Of Blues June 8. The band will then go back to Europe and play the festival circuit, including the August's V Festival. Simpatico, which the band recorded with Jim Lowe (Stereophonics), will be released May 2 in the US via Sanctuary Records. It was released April 17 in the UK and debuted at number 10 on the charts.
