Aiden, Emma Top Baby Names In Kansas

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said Aiden and Emma were the most popular names picked by parents in 2005.

KDHE officials said that the trend for Celtic and English boys' names continued with Aiden, Kaden, Conner, Dylan and Logan, which were in the top 25.

Emma occupied the top spot on the girls' list for the third year running. Hailey, Emily, Kaitlyn and Madison joined Emma in the top five.

Dropping off the list of 25 most popular girls' names were Katherine, Kylie, Sarah and Sydney. Leaving the list of 25 most popular boys' names were Austin, John, Ryan and Samuel.
