Eyeing greater heights: Bobi Wine is set to record a duet with Beenie Man and has already recorded another with Kevin Lyttle, which is yet to be released in July this year.

Just a week before Easter , Fire Base Crew President, Bobi Wine, met and performed alongside internationally acclaimed dancehall king, Beenie Man and Spragga Benz in Stockholm, Sweden.

During an interview on KFM's The Edge with JKazoora last Friday, Bobi Wine said that after performing, he told Beenie Man who was about to perform that it had always been his (Bobi's) dream to meet and talk to him.

"I can't say I am a star but I think I am good, because if Beenie Man could admit that I am talented, and even agreed to do a song with me, then Ugandans should know that I am good," said Bobi Wine.

Wine promised two other duets with Beenie Man's right hand man, Spragga Benz. "I am a man of surprises, so I don't want to promise a lot but I want my actions to say it all."

When Bobi Wine was in the UK for several Easter shows, he met yet another dancehall pin-up, Kevin Lyttle, of the Turn Me On fame. "I danced all through as Kevin Lyttle sang while we recorded a song together," Bobi added.

During the interview, Wine also trashed allegations that Chagga, who has been second in command in Chameleone's Leone Island Crew, had joined the Fire Base crew.

"Chagga is a good guy, very talented, but because of some few reasons, he has failed to shine. So I just gave him a deal to go with me to Sweden, but he is not a member of the Fire Base Crew, though we will be dropping a duet very soon," Wine said. Chagga is the Vice President of Leone Island.
