System Of A Down, Disturbed, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, and a band to be determined will headline Ozzfest 2006 when the tour kicks off July 1 in San Francisco, California. Tour founder Ozzy Osbourne will appear at 10 shows.

The second stage will feature Atreyu, Black Label Society, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Strapping Young Lad, Norma Dean, A Life Once Lost, Full Blown Chaos, All That Remains, the Red Chord, and Between The Buried and Me.

Osbourne’s solo performance marks the first time that he has performed as a solo artist in three years. He performed with Black Sabbath during the last two Ozzfests.

The full itinerary is yet to be released, but is expected shortly. The final major act will be announced May 23.
