The nominees for the 2006 MuchMusic Video Awards have been announced and Billy Talent, Kardinal Offishall and Massari lead the way with five nominations each.

The Trews follow with four nods and Nickelback, City And Colour and Metric each scored three. U.S. acts Green Day and Kanye West also received three nominations.
