For those Blood Brothers fans who just can't wait until their new album is released this fall, here's a treat to hold you over: The band is releasing an EP, Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck, today on V2. The EP is chock-full of previously unavailable goodies such as UK B-sides, remixes (including a remix of Gang of Four's "Anthrax") and a live version of the title track from the band's appearance at last year's Reading Festival.

Blood Brothers are currently working on their new album in Seattle with Fugazi's Guy Picciotto, who's also produced The Gossip and Blonde Redhead, and John Goodmanson, who worked on their 2004 album Crimes. The as-yet-untitled album is slated for a fall release.
