No matter what your musical taste is, there's something for everyone this summer concert season. Here are the summer's key tours. All dates subject to change. Visit ticketmaster.com and pollstar.com for details.

JAM BANDS

Ben Harper: Singer/songwriter and band will be joined by reggae star Damian Marley. Sept. 11 at Penn's Landing.

Phil Lesh & Friends/Trey Anastasio and Mike Gordon Former Grateful Dead bassist Lesh is joined by Joan Osborne, among others. Phish alums Anastasio and Gordon join the tour June 28 in Raleigh, N.C., and will alternate closing with Lesh. June 30 at the Tweeter Center.

The Dave Matthews Band: June 27-28 at Tweeter Center.

PACKAGE TOURS

“American Idol” Top 10: The 10 finalists from the TV show take to the stage. July 22 at the Wachovia Center.

Family Values: Korn relaunches the Family Values Tour (on hiatus for five years) and will be joined by Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Dir en gray on the main stage. Sept. 15 at Tweeter Center.

Ozzfest: System of a Down, Disturbed, Hatebreed and Lacuna Coil will head the main-stage lineup for this venerable concert festival. Ozzy Osbourne will be there for 10 dates, but for the first time will play the second stage. Aug. 4 at the Tweeter Center.

Vans Warped Tour: The 12th traveling festival features dozens of bands, including Helmet, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, NOFX and Thursday. Aug. 3 at the Tweeter Center.

CLASSIC ROCK/OLDIES

Jimmy Buffett: Aug. 1 at the Tweeter Center.

Chicago/Huey Lewis & The News: Chicago celebrates 30th album “XXX” while their co-headliners just released “Huey Lewis & the News: Greatest Hits.” July 22 at the Tweeter Center.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young: Their first tour together since 2002. July 6 at the Tweeter Center.

Def Leppard/Journey: Brits team with Bay Area stalwarts. June 23 at the Tweeter Center.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers: The band’s Highway Companions Tour features special guests including Pearl Jam (June 26-July 3), Allman Brothers Band (July/August) and Trey Anastasio (June 9-23). Aug. 18 at the Tweeter Center.

Steely Dan: Walter Becker and Donald Fagen tour for the first time in three years. Michael McDonald will open. Aug. 19 at the Tweeter Center.

Roger Waters: The estranged Pink Floyd co-founder will perform the classic “Dark Side of the Moon” in its entirety on an 18-city tour. Sept. 16 at the Tweeter Center.

Also touring: Pat Benatar, Black Crowes, Eric Clapton, Alice Cooper, Elvis Costello/Allen Toussaint, Sammy Hagar, INXS, James Gang, Mark Knopfler/Emmylou Harris, Lynyrd Skynyrd/3 Doors Down, Steve Miller Band, Bonnie Raitt, Ringo Starr.

ALTERNATIVE

Fiona Apple: Apple’s biggest tour in six years is supported by David Garza. Damien Rice will appear on selected dates. July 28 at the Tweeter Center.

Panic! At the Disco: The hot Las Vegas band will be joined on some dates by the Dresden Dolls and OK Go. July 1 at Penn’s Landing.

Snow Patrol: The Irish rock band just released its “Eyes Open” album. June 26 at the Electric Factory.

Also touring: The Editors, Fiery Furnaces, Sonic Youth, Yellowcard.

MAINSTREAM POP/ ROCK

Bon Jovi: The latest leg of the “Have a Nice Day” world tour is a series of stadium dates. July 15 at Citizens Bank Park.

Mariah Carey: Carey tours for the first time in three years off the multiplatinum success of “The Emancipation of Mimi” album. Aug. 11 at the Wachovia Center.

Kelly Clarkson: The original “American Idol” launches her Addicted Tour and will preview material from her upcoming 2007 album. July 18 at the Tweeter Center.

Foo Fighters: Eight-piece lineup plays tunes from the all-acoustic disc of last year’s “In Your Honor” double album. Aug. 16 at the Tower.

Madonna: Madonna’s “Confessions” keeps the focus on dance music – and a bit of controversy. July 12-13 at the Wachovia Center.

Pink: A 22-city club tour. July 15 at the Electric Factory.

Bruce Springsteen and the Seeger Sessions Band: Springsteen and band reconfigure folk. June 20 at the Tweeter Center.

Also touring: Michael Bublé, Melissa Etheridge, Goo Goo Dolls/Counting Crows, Los Lonely Boys, Nickelback, Ashlee Simpson.

HARD ROCK/METAL

Slayer: The thrash-metal band’s Unholy Alliance Tour – Preaching to the Perverted – kicks off with Lamb of God, Mastodon, Children of Bodom and Thine Eyes Bleed. June 15 at the Tweeter Center.

COUNTRY

Dixie Chicks: The trio just released “Taking the Long Way.” July 25 at the Wachovia Center.

Also touring: Trace Adkins, George Jones, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
