(PR) Rockers Halifax showed strongly on the Billboard charts this week nabbing the #1 Heatseeker position for their release The Inevitability Of A Strange World released May 23, 2006 on Drive-Thru Records. This is the band's first full-length release. Produced by Lou Giordano (Taking Back Sunday, Sunny Day Real Estate) and Machine (Armor for Sleep, Lamb Of God, Boys Night Out) The Inevitability Of A Strange World is a full-throttle rock n' roll record replete with slick guitar work and gut-wrenching power ballads. The album's first single "Our Revolution" is an homage to 80's era Mφtley Crόe inspired rock n' roll. The accompanying video, directed by Ahmi Manson highlights Halifax's love of the finer things in life. The video makes its on-air debut June 5th on FUSE'S Daily Download show, will be shown all week on Oven Fresh and is currently premiering online at MySpace.com. "Our Revolution" will impact Rock radio formats on June 12th. In addition to #1 Heatseekers, Inevitability debuted at #130 on the Top 200 this week.
