Sister Charmaine, Elephant Man and Natty King drop new singles

Friday, June 16, 2006

Remember 1980s female deejay Sister Charmaine who had a good run in the dancehall with a string of sexually explicit hits? One of her more radio-friendly songs at the time was Hol' A Rest.

Charmaine, who has been living in the US for a number of years now, makes a strong bid for a comeback with the song Glamity on the Mr Piper label.

The song is being distributed by In the Streetz.
Other new titles being handled by In the Streetz include Want a Wife and I'm A Jamaican by KC Jockey (Sweet Sadies label); Salute by Elephant Man (Q45 label); Dutty Wine by Elephant Man (Stone Love label); Core For Life by Natty King; and Not Good At All by Lil Joe (Anchor Recordings).
