Actress Brittany Murphy whose acting credits include Girl Interrupted, Frank Miller's Sin City, Just Married, is catching the singing bug! She has said that she grew up listening to soul, Hip-Hop and jazz music and right now she is a big fan of Kanye West. Brittany is working on releasing an album (no prospective date has been decided yet). Her first live concert was a Run DMC and Fat Boys concert! You are telling your age, Brit. She has been in the studio recording, but not word if Eminem will appear.

Here is some new stuff about DJ Premiere. I heard that will be producing new album by Canibus and Royce Da 5’ 9”. I suppose these two, who have been seeking comeback for a while, and have decided to partner with the best. But, on he flip side, I heard that Preem will be producing an album for ‘Bis and Royce as a rap duo. Yes, microphone fiends, Canibus and Royce are rumored to be recording an album together. Happy, happy, joy, joy!

WTF ON WAX PART 2

So it is my understanding that Ryan Cameron from V 103 in Atlanta interviewed RL about this new song called “Hater In You,” where he clearly pops singing disses at 112 and Jagged Edge. I heard 112 and Jagged Edge called while homeboy was on the radio and blasted him. RL responded that he was NOT trying to diss his ATL compatriots. I hope 50 Cent didn’t hear about this, because the G-Unit general has made it clear he “don’t back down.” But, why is RL backing down so fast? Anyway, he proclaimed that he was speaking in generalities to Ryan Cameron, not specifically to 112 and Jagged Edge. I will tell you one thing – Jagged Edge doesn’t play! Sorry, I don’t believe RL, but who cares what I believe.

BOYZ N THE RED

The internet has been on fire. People want to know if Rick Ross is going to join the Atlanta-based crew, Boyz N Da Hood. I am hearing that it was almost a done deal, but Ross’ solo success is getting in the way. Sound familiar? Anyway, it’s not going down yet, but maybe later. In the meantime, BNDH’s next CD will supposedly be some appearances by the likes of Lil’ Wayne, who was supposed to replace Jeezy before.

R.I.P. TO A PIONEER SKEETER RABBIT

I just want to give a huge shout out to Skeeter Rabbit, a member of the dance troop The Electric Boogaloos. Crazy Legs of the Rock Steady Crew told AllHipHop.com, “Please understand that there aren't enough words to express how important this brother was to the scene.” Skeeter Rabbit passed away last month and it slipped under most media’s radar. Here is some information off of the group’s site: Skeet started dancing as a young kid growing up in the streets of Los Angeles. Skeet started out locking and soon after started popping with his cousins Boogaloo Sam and Poppin Pete around 1978. In 1979 Skeet became an official member of the EB's and has gone on to become a pioneer and innovator of the dance styles popping and boogaloo. R.I.P., bro.

I don’t know the facts, but people inside Christina Millian say she wasn't dropped - she “wants out [of her contract] real bad.
