Officials are trying to figure out what sparked a fire overnight at a home in Lincoln County that killed one person.
Firefighters were called to the home on Elliot Road in Stanford about 11 p.m. Sunday. They say the home was already engulfed in flames when they arrived. Lincoln county officials say Joe Graves did not make it out of the home.
Investigators say Graves likely died of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters say the home is destroyed, and that they believe that the fire started in the front of the home. They do not yet know the cause, but it appears to be accidentally set.
