LEN CURRAN (47) has been appointed to the board of Renault UK with responsibility for the Commercial Operations Department.

He will take over sole responsibility for Renault's UK sales network, used vehicles and franchising operations from Andrew Luck who is leaving the company after 26-years.

He joined Renault UK's Commercial Operations department in 1992 as area manager, before being promoted to area operations manager in 1997 then taking a senior management role as manager, commercial operations in 2001.

From there, he moved to Reagroup UK Limited, Renault's wholly-owned retail sales operation network, in 2004 as southern divisional director. He re-joins Renault UK after a two-year absence and will commence his new role on 24 July.

Philippe Talou-Derible, managing director, Renault UK, commented: "Andrew Luck's long career with Renault UK has spanned almost all commercial activities, and I would like to thank him for his undisputed contribution to our performance over the years, particularly during his seven years as director, and I wish him every success in the future."
