Story by: Jessica Suarez

The Virgin Festival will make its first US appearance September 23 in Baltimore. The Who and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the festival, which also features performances from Keane, Gnarls Barkley, the Flaming Lips, Wolfmother and the New Pornographers, among others. Virgin head Richard Branson (that's Sir Richard Branson to you British folks) announced the new festival June 30. The festival will also make a two-day appearance in Toronto September 9 and 10.

The V Fest will be equipped with two performance stages and one dance tent. Tickets are just under $100, and will be available beginning July 22. Seth Hurwitz, owner of Washington D.C.'s 9:30 Club, is producing the festival, which has had a consistent run in England. According to the website, the festival grounds will also feature "high-quality concessions, a diverse array of vendors and non-profit organizations, interactive art installations and performance art and many unexpected happenings."
