This fall, Tucson's busiest sextet, Calexico, will continue its continuous motion with their second tour this year in support of their fifth full studio album, Garden Ruin, which was released this April. Constant touring is a pleasure for the band- Calexico’s Joey Burn states: "We wouldn't be out here as much as we are if we didn't love playing and meeting people along the way. The travels always find a way of influencing musical ideas and directions for new recordings."

After their August 3 appearance in New York at Central Park's SummerStage with the New Pornographers and a stint in Chicago at Lollapalooza August 5, Calexico will kick off the next leg of the Garden Ruin tour September 3 in Oakland, California. The tour's second installment, which covers mostly Midwestern cities, will continue through September 30, including a performance in Chicago at the anticipated Touch & Go 25th Anniversary Celebration and a stop at the Austin City Limits Festival. The band completed a five-week North American tour earlier this month. Tour Dates:
