Man killed in fatal crash is identified
Authorities identified the man involved in a fatal crash Sunday night that tied up traffic along Interstate 215 for more than two hours. Perris resident Romero Gomez, 47, died after flipping his red SUV near Oleander Avenue on the southbound Interstate 215. The vehicle rolled multiple times and landed on the center divider. Witnesses said Gomez may have lost control after blowing a tire. The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. --Claudia Bustamante |
