Futuremark dances the Intel fandango

Dance of the ORB Polka dot coms

By Charlie Demerjian: Sunday 30 July 2006, 17:51

IT LOOKS LIKE Futuremark is playing games around the Conroe launch.

From the time the NDA went up on the 14th until now, the ORB will not take Core 2 submissions, meaning top scores are not allowed.

Any excuse they may have had went away last Monday on the 17th and hopefully final launch of the chip. Almost a week later, no love. There is a thread and petition bitching about it here on XtremeSystems.

With any luck, Futuremark will get a clue and fix this, I can get close to the numbers they have up with a stock X6800 and dual X1900s, that is a pretty sad state of affairs. ยต
