Emo's name game

It's one of pop music's most intriguing -- and endearing -- trends. Bands such as Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco and other "mainstreemo" rockers have been venturing into the realm of abstract titling (really long titles that aren't reflected directly in their songs' lyrics), producing such creations as I Slept with Someone in Fall Out Boy and All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me and The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage. Edna Gundersen chronicles many more examples and takes an overview of the trend.
