WEST PALM BEACH – The newest version of SunFest's annual music and arts bash has scheduled major acts that run the range from Ashlee Simpson to Jason Mraz to the veteran Lynyrd Skynyrd band.

Scheduled so far for the May 4 to May 7 music, art and waterfront festival are Simpson, Carrie Underwood, Duncan Sheik, Fiona Apple, Mraz, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Omarion, Teddy Geiger and Train. Additional entertainers will be announced as they are confirmed, SunFest officials said.

Also planned are performances by Fefe Dobson, Plumb, DJ Maj, Duncan Sheik, Family Stone Experience, and others.

This year's edition of SunFest will be held along the Flagler Drive and Intracoastal Waterway section of the city. Reserved seating for the concerts goes on sale April 7.

"SunFest is the ultimate Florida experience for residents and visitors," Paul Jamieson, executive director of SunFest, said in press release. "It's a Florida holiday that is a must attend event the first weekend in May. We plan to put on a great show and everyone is invited."

Last year, more than 300,000 people attended SunFest, which is in its 24th year.
