TICKETS ON SALE

Pet Shop Boys at the Orpheum

British pop duo the Pet Shop Boys are coming to town for their first live performance here since 1991. Tickets for the Oct. 28 gig at the Orpheum Theatre are $71.50 and $41.50 and will go on sale at noon Monday through Ticketmaster.

Other new shows going on sale via Ticketmaster include:

• California pop punkers Unwritten Law; 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21; the Ascot Room at the Quest; $12; on sale at 10 a.m. today.

• Adventurous alt-country act Calexico; 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28; Fine Line Music Cafe; $34.50-$14.50; on sale at 11 a.m. Saturday.

• Sounds of the Underground veterans Unearth; 4:30 p.m. Sept. 10; the Quest; $15; on sale at 11 a.m. Saturday.

• Singer-songwriters Gary Jules and Jim Bianco; 7 p.m. Aug. 22; Varsity Theater; $10; on sale at 11 a.m. Saturday.

• Emerging rockers the Fray; 8 p.m. Oct. 5; Northrop Auditorium; $28-$23; on sale at noon Saturday.

• Ed McMahon's "Memories of the Tonight Show"; 8 p.m. Sept. 23; State Theatre; $39.50-$29.50; on sale at noon Sunday.
