MANTUA -- Rowan University will break ground April 10 on the first building of the South Jersey Technology Park, a public-private venture that's expected to become an economic engine for the region.
The $11 million, 45,000-square-foot Innovation Center, being developed by the Dallas-based Lincoln Property Company, will include Rowan research laboratories, office space and an incubator area for very small start-up companies.
When finished, the 188-acre technology park is projected to encompass 1.5 million square feet. It is located on Route 322 near Route 55.
Mt. Laurel to hold residency hearing
MOUNT LAUREL -- Township Council will hold a public hearing March 20 on an ordinance that would restrict where registered sex offenders can live.
The measure would ban tier two and tier three sex offenders from living within 2,500 feet of schools, libraries, child-care facilities, parks and playgrounds. Tier two is moderate risk and tier three is high risk for committing another sex crime.
