The package, featuring both live and studio tracks, is an apparent requirement as part of the new contract the band signed with RCA Records in 2004. A release date has not been announced. The group is also at work on a new studio album, which will be the follow-up to 2005's "Stand Up."
The band's ongoing tour will run through September 23 in Charlottesville, Va. It will also open an October 20 show in El Paso for the Rolling Stones. The group previously opened some European shows for the rockers in 1998; Matthews' duet with Mick Jagger on "Memory Motel" was recorded for the Stones' live album "No Security."
