Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald won't comment on a published report that he and his wife have separated, press secretary Sasha Irving said Friday.
The premier's wife, Lori-Ann MacDonald, told the Halifax Chronicle-Herald on Thursday that the premier had moved out of their home.
"We're not together anymore," she told the newspaper.

Irving said there would be no comment on the story or on the premier's personal life.
MacDonald and his wife were married in 1994 and have an eight-year-old son, Ryan.
MacDonald's Conservative government won a minority in the June election.
It was the 34-year-old's first election since taking over the Tory leadership from former premier John Hamm in February.
