The Adelphia-Comcast sale is expected to become final Monday afternoon.

It's a $17-billion deal and will make Comcast Vermont's largest cable provider. Comcast says the transition will be seemless, and that customers will hear from the company about any changes.

Comcast must also uphold Adelphia's commitment to lay 1,500 miles of cable in Vermont.
