DJ Khaled Enlists Famous Friends For Album Debut

Following in the footsteps of established DJs like Funkmaster Flex and Kay Slay, Miami-based DJ/Terror Squad affiliate DJ Khaled will be releasing his first compilation album this June.

Khaled, who also produces under the name Beat Novocane, is currently putting finishing touches on his untitled debut which will feature some of the biggest names in the hip-hop industry.

"I produced like four joints" Khaled told Ozone Magazine. " I have Cool & Dre on as producers, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, Scott Storch, DJ Nasty and The Runners, all kinds of producers. I got everybody on the album: Trick Daddy, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Christina Milian, Rick Ross, Lil Scrappy, The Game, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Juelz Santana, Young Jeezy , T.I... It's gonna be crazy."

The album's lead single "Holla At Me" features appearances from Fat Joe, Paul Wall, Lil Wayne, Pitbull and Rick Ross. The video for the single will be shot on March 19 in Miami and will premiere on MTV2's "Making The Video" on April 10.

In related news, rumors are circulating that Terror Squad honcho Fat Joe is being dropped by Atlantic Records and could be headed to Asylum Records.

DJ Khaled's untitled compilation will be released on June 6.
