JAY-Z RUMORS!

We all know of Jay-Z's efforts to clean up water in Africa and positive things of that sort, but there a re other positive things as well going on with him. I have heard that his upcoming album is 1) finished, 2) 92% finished and 80% finished. Well, this is great news should it be true. Now, I also heard that Kanye's next album is about 50% finished with his own album follow up. I'm 100% sure that I am ready for both of these men to drop albums.

CHRISTINA MILLI

You know I have come to like Christina Milian, right? Well anyway, yesterday she appeared on the Miss Jones Morning show and it was revealed that there is some sort of litigation going on between Def Jam and Milian. The nature of it wasn't revealed, because Milly was there merely to promote her new movie "Pulse." Miss Jones and the crew tried and tried, but actually hung up on Christina after she refused to answer the questions regarding her split with Def Jam. Now, why you wanna go and do that, Love, huh? I really like her CD, So Amazin' - give it a chance!

Perhaps, Miss Jones and the crew could have finessed that interview better instead of hanging up in her pretty ear. Here is what Christina told a group of journalists. "I'm at a point right now where I wanna dominate one thing more than the other. I would love to dominate my acting career a lot more than my music because I think it's a good firm base for me. I think there's longevity in my film career for me, and I think it's a challenge and I enjoy it."I know what's to come tomorrow a little bit more with film. Compared to music, it's such a challenge, you just never know. You spend a lot of time in your heart and soul, you spend [time] sweating in the studio making music, rehearsing, doing this, doing that, you put out the music and you just never know what's gonna happen. Are the fans gonna love it? How much money gets spent? It's incredible, the music industry, what goes behind it."

REMEMBER THE NIA RUMORS?

Remember there were rumors about Nia Long and Reggie Bush. Now, I don't know anything about their relationship at all. All I know is that the word now is that the dude that got the "2-piece chin check" was none other than Massai Z. Dorsey. That's very allegedly, because I've never heard any hard facts to confirm this. But he and Nia were to be married in June 2001, but the relationship fizzled. Anyway, somebody cold-clocked homey, but nobody knows who. This all happened a couple months ago so its an old rumor regardless.

RICK ROSS GETTING SUED?

There is a group called I Got Weight and they are claiming that Rick Ross plagiarized from them. See, Rick Ross used a Scarface sample on his new song called "Push It" and I Got Weight also used that sample in their song, "Push It To The Limit." There are similarities because they used the same beat, but I'm not sure if there is a lawsuit here! Rumor has it "Weight" is considering. Go to their site to hear both versions.

Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas has a nice song in "London Bridge," but according to one of my pals overseas, Fergie's not telling the facts! Apparently, she is under another roadway called the Tower Bridge. Do tell! Thanks, John!

Travis Barker of Blink-182 filed for divorce wife Shanna Moakler! They looked so happy on "reality TV." This is really real.

I heard that B.G. was in Detroit and may have been involved in an altercation, but the details are sketchy.

Is Pete Rock dating Carmen, the mother of Nas' child? Just a question! Shout out to Pete for coming to the Breeding Ground!

MTV and Snoop are under fire for the alleged degrading of Black women - read about it here. I didn't appreciate the women on the leashes, but that's my opinion.

The Da Dime of tha D (Constance) told me that Hoopz was on the local radio and shot all the pregnancy rumors down. She told the radio 102.7 FM that she was mostly focusing on her acting career.
