Deborah Gibson in "Cabaret"

The North Carolina Theater's production of the Broadway classic "Cabaret" will come to a close this weekend. The star of the show is Deborah Gibson, who is reprising her Broadway role of Sally Bowles. You can see “Cabaret” at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Hurricanes return to the RBC Center

The 2006 Winter Olympics are now over. That means it is time for the Carolina Hurricanes to head back to work at the RBC Center. The Canes hope they can keep their winning streak alive Friday when they take on the Florida Panthers. The puck drops at 7 a.m. Tickets range in price from $10.29 to $125. Dixie Deer Classic

The Dixie Deer Classic is being held this weekend at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. The event offers the latest in hunting equipment, and organizers say more than 200 vendors are taking part in this year's event. A three-day admission pass is $10 and children 12 and under get in for free.

Official Oscar Night ® America party

Oscar Night ® is almost here, and one Raleigh group plans to watch the red carpet extravaganza in style. The Official Oscar Night ® America Party will take place at the Cardinal Club Sunday night. It starts at 7 p.m. Dress is supposed to be "creative black tie," and tickets are $65 per person. The money raised will benefit Artsplosure. For more information, call (919) 832-8699 or click here.
