Quintet Danity Kane of MTV's Making the Band sold 234,000 copies of its self-titled debut to snatch the No. 1 spot in Billboard, eclipsing Outkast's heavily hyped Idlewild, at No. 2 with 196,000. The duo's soundtrack falls short of 2003's Spearkerboxxx/The Love Below, which sold 510,000 its first week. Both top albums were outdistanced by the top digital track, Justin Timberlake's Sexyback, which sold 250,000 copies.

Christina Aguilera falls from first place to third, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Maná's Amar Es Combatir enters at No. 4 with 87,000, and the Cheetah Girls 2 soundtrack stays in fifth place. Paris Hilton's Paris sold 75,000 copies and lands at No. 6, ahead of Now 22. Three debuts round out the top 10: Lamb of God's Sacrament at No. 8 with 63,000, The Ultimate Luther Vandross at No. 9 with 59,000 and Kelis Was Here at No. 10 with 58,000. Pat Green's Cannonball arrives at No. 20 with 38,000. And the sophomoric ... uh, sophomore edition of Crazy Frog tunes, More Crazy Hits, opens at No. 40, purchased by 23,000 non-music lovers.
