Power outage affects 1,311 customers

A power outage was reported on the northwest side of Olney at approximately 9 p.m. Thursday.
According to the police report, the outage also included Dundas.
An Ameren spokesperson said the outage lasted from 9 p.m. to 10:28 p.m. and affected 1,311 customers. It occurred when an animal got into a substation and caused a fuse to blow.
