Dinner cancelled after burlesque row   9.00am Friday September 8, 2006   The social highlight of a high-powered climate conference in Canberra was aborted after female entertainers stripped to their underwear as part of a burlesque show.   The dinner was the social highlight of the 17th Australia New Zealand Climate Change Forum, at the Australian National University for researchers and officials from both sides of the Tasman, the Age newspaper reported.   Many of the women at the dinner left the room in horror or protested to the conference organiser.   Tools   • Printer Friendly
